Program:

Faith Academy Diploma Program – Biblical Ministry and Languages

Prerequisites for students:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • A reference who is an ordained minister

Class schedule:

Choose from Thursday or Saturday classes. The same set of classes are taught on both days to accommodate various schedules.

Duration:

  • Each Semester is 12 weeks of classes, plus a 13th week for exams.

Program Completion

Graduates must have completed 1 year of field work at a local church to receive ordination.

Faith Academy Diploma Program – Biblical Ministry and Languages 
Upon successful completion of 7 semesters of study, students are eligible for graduation from our program. Following graduation, individuals can pursue ordination after fulfilling 1 year of field work. This field work can be completed anytime, either before or after graduation at a local church. During this period, students may engage in various church ministries such as the sound department, usher’s department, teaching department, leading a small group, outreach department, and more. To confirm the completion of field work, graduates will require a letter from the pastor of the local church where they served. This letter serves as confirmation of their practical experience and readiness for ordination.

Rev. Gary Mwentin Hibbert

Gary Mwentin Hibbert is an ordained minister with over 30 years of pastoral ministry and has achieved a certificate in Linguistic Context of the Bible Program at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies. He is an international speaker, author, mentor, and an activist for social, economic, and judicial justice. He has addressed audiences of all ages and backgrounds by taking the stage at churches, high schools, colleges prisons, economic seminars, and social and political forums in Canada, the USA, Europe, the Caribbean, and Africa. He is the author of ‘I Believe, Therefore I Speak’ and ‘How Blacks Can Succeed in the Americas, The Caribbean, Africa or Anywhere Else.’

Gary’s passion and vision is to empower others through the teaching of faith to live the life intended for them by God, a life of righteousness, happiness and peace, which has driven him to establish Faith Academy Bible School.

A man on a mission, Gary Mwentin Hibbert and his wife, Shelley Hibbert, oversee Faith Is Our Victory Now Ministries, to help oppressed people everywhere, so all may believe. His heart is to help alleviate those suffering from systemic oppression, inequality and poverty through education and to find hope in Christ. He believes every person should receive the education needed to become leaders who contribute to society and help their families and others thrive.

Dr. Eirini Artemi studied Theology and Classical Philology in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her master and doctorate are on Theology and mainly on History of Dogma, Patristic and Symbolic Theology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her first post-doctorate is on ancient Greek and Byzantine
Philosophy from the University of Patras. Her second doctorate is on Social Sciences and Humanities in a Post Crisis Period from the University of Almeria in Spain.

She is adjunct professor in Hellenic Open University of Athens. She teaches byzantine civilization and philology, Church history and dogmatic theology in the postgraduate program. Also, she teaches the Biblical Koine Greek language in the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies with the collaboration of Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Finally, she taught Patristic theology and Church History in the Theology School of
the Orthodox University of Kinshasa – Congo, in 2018-2022.

She has presented academic papers in international conferences of theology, philosophy and bioethics in all over the world. She has been honoured with scholarships and prizes by many universities of Europe and USA and has published many academic articles in scholar peer reviewed journals. Her articles and books have more than 600 references in other scholarly journals.

Lorraine is an ordained minister who serves alongside the leadership of Faith Is Our Victory Now Ministries. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

Dr. Paul Mazibuko studied in Mzumbe University (Tanzania) where he obtained a BA Degree in certified Accountancy in 1991. In 2013, he earned a BA in Theology, and a Master’s degree in Theology in 2015 with Logos University in the UK. And in 2017 he completed his PhD in Theology at the same university.

He founded and is currently the presiding bishop of the Revival Power Church Ministries in South Africa, preaching in various countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Lesotho, Botswana and Swaziland (now Eswatini).

He is the author of the following books: The Blessing of Abraham – Volume 1; How To Achieve Your Dream; 7 Steps to Heaven; and How to Achieve a Happy and Successful Marriage.

A portrait of Anthony Rivera, MAAnthony Rivera is a scholar of the Hebrew Bible and Ancient Near Eastern Languages and Religions. Anthony earned a Bachelor's Degree in Near Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University, and a Masters of Theological Studies Degree in Hebrew Scripture and Interpretation from the Harvard Divinity School. He has completed post-graduate work at UCLA in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures.

Anthony currently is on the Faculty of Ancient Scripture and Religious Studies at BYU. For the last 12 years, he has taught Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Aramaic language courses online at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies at the Hebrew University. He also runs the HebrewBible.Info website which serves as a customized instruction and resources site to students of ancient scriptural texts and languages.

His various research interests include Ancient Near Eastern languages including Sumerian, Akkadian, Old Babylonian, Assyrian, Ugaritic, Aramaic, Hebrew; Jewish Religious Texts including Talmud, Midrash, Targumim, Dead Sea Scrolls; Christin Aramaic and Syriac Peshitta; and conducting expeditions and travels throughout the Holy Land, and the Middle East and Mesoamerica.

Kerri graduated in 1999 from the University of New Brunswick (UNB) with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree. During her time at UNB, she received the C.R.C Award (1993-94), the Annie McGuiggan Prize (1994-95), the UNB Saint John Engineering Prize (1994-95), the R.J. Collier Memorial Prize (1997-98), and the Steadman Bucknell Henderson Memorial Scholarship (1998-99) for her academic achievements.

In 2020, Kerri began her Masters in Business Administration at Oral Roberts University (ORU). She graduated in May 2022 Summa Cum Laude maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. She was awarded the ONEOK prize for scholastic achievement.

Kerri has worked in a local church setting for the past two decades helping churches and ministries achieve excellence in governance. She resides in Brampton with her husband, Jason, and two children, Kaela and Nathan.

Daphne Siddique works with a group of clinicians who have a passion to assist people thrive in their personal lives, their spiritual journeys, and in their intimate relationships. She is passionate about integrating her educational background into the Ministry of the Church and assisting Pastor’s in understanding the depths of the realities of an individual's psychological, social, and spiritual experiences into processing and addressing the various issues of life, its challenges, and situations.

Daphne is apart of wellness groups in her area and serves in a variety of capacities while integrating modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and she believes in the importance of understanding the different attachment styles, coping mechanisms, and psychodynamics which attribute to maladaptive belief systems which cause individuals to remain stuck in negative patterns and cycles. She brings to this role and extensive eagerness in connecting the worldviews of counselling, systems thinking, neurological education, and spiritual integration.
